Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant to work on research project entitled “Hydrogen production by recombinant E. coli from crude glycerol and lignocellulosic biomass” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government Of India as Ramalingaswami Fellowship. The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with project [Aug-2024].

Eligibility :
Minimum Qualifications :
- M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry) With minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualification :
- NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.
- Candidates having experience of molecular biology and microbiology techniques are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates must have proficiency in scientific writing.
Work :
- The selected candidate is expected to work in metabolic engineering, genome editing/gene knockout and metabolomic analysis via GC, GC-MS and LC-MS.
Age Limit :
- Up to 31 years on closing date of advertisement
Duration :
- Till the end of the project [Aug, 2024] (subject to satisfactory performance)
Fellowship :
- As perGBU, GOG guidelines.
