એક CT સ્કેન છાતીના 300-400 એક્સ-રે સમાન હોવાથી કેન્સરનું જોખમ વધી જાય છે
શ્વાસ લેવામાં તકલીફ ન પડતી હોય, ઓક્સિજન લેવલ સામાન્ય હોય અને તાવ ન આવતો હોય તો ગભરાવાની જરૂર નથી
સેચ્યુરેશન 93 અથવા ઓછું છે, બેભાન જેવી સ્થિતિ છે, છાતીમાં દુખાવો થઈ રહ્યો છે તો તાત્કાલિક ડોક્ટરનો સંપર્ક કરવો
દેશમાં કોરોનાના કેસ સતત વધી રહ્યા છે. આ સંજોગોમાં લોકો ગભરાઈને કોરોનાને લગતી અનેક પ્રકારની સારવાર કરાવી રહ્યા છે, જે એકંદરે તેમના માટે જોખમી સાબિત થઈ શકે છે. ઓલ ઈન્ડિયા મેડિકલ એસોસિએશન (AIIMS)ના વડા ડો. રણદીપ ગુલેરિયાએ જણાવ્યું છે કે જે પણ દર્દી વારંવાર CT સ્કેન કરાવી રહ્યા છે તેમણે એ બાબતથી વાકેફ થવું જરૂરી છે કે તેઓ પોતાની ઉપર એક મોટું જોખમ સર્જી રહ્યા છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે CT સ્કેનથી કેન્સરનું જોખમ રહેલું છે.
સરકારે સ્પષ્ટતા કરી છે કે એક CT સ્કેન છાતીના 300-400 એક્સ-રે સમાન છે, યુવાન અવસ્થામાં સતત CT સ્કેન કરાવવાના સંજોગોમાં કેન્સરનું જોખમ વધી જાય છે.
સતત લોકો CT સ્કેન કરાવી રહ્યા છે
ડો.ગુલેરિયાએ કહ્યું કે રેડિએશનના એક ડેટાનું વિશ્લેષણ કરતા જાણવા મળ્યું છે કે લોકો ત્રણ-ત્રણ દિવસે CT સ્કેન કરાવી રહ્યા છે. આ ઉપરાંત અન્ય એક ખાસ વાત સામે આવી છે કે જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ પોઝિટિવ છે અને દર્દીને સામાન્ય લક્ષણ છે તો CT સ્કેન કરાવવાની કોઈ જ જરૂર નથી. કારણ કે CT સ્કેન કરાવવાથી જે રિપોર્ટ સામે આવે છે તેમાં થોડી ઘણી અમુક સ્થિતિ આવે જ છે. તેનાથી દર્દી વધારે ચિંતિત અને પરેશાન થઈ શકે છે.
સામાન્ય લક્ષણોની સ્થિતિમાં કોઈ જ દવાની જરૂર નથી-ડો.ગુલેરિયા
ડો.ગુલેરિયાના જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે કોરોના પોઝિટિવ છે, પણ શ્વાસ લેવામાં કોઈ જ તકલીફ પડી રહી નથી. તમારું ઓક્સિજન લેવલ સામાન્ય છે અને તાવ પણ આવી રહ્યો નથી તો બિલકુલ ગભરાવાની જરૂર નથી. આ પ્રકારના દર્દીને વધારે દવા લેવાની પણ જરૂર નથી. આ પ્રકારની દવાઓ વિપરીત અસર સર્જી શકે છ અને દર્દીનું આરોગ્ય બગડી શકે છે. એઈમ્સના ડોક્ટરે કહ્યું કે લોકો વારંવાર લોહીની તપાસ કરાવે છે, જ્યાં સુધી ડોક્ટર ન કરે ત્યાં સુધી જાતે જ આ પ્રકારની તપાસ કરાવશો નહીં. તેનાથી તમારી ચિંતામાં વધારે થશે.
કેન્સરનું જોખમ
એઈમ્સના વડાએ કહ્યું કે હોમ આઈસોલેશનમાં જે લોકો રહેલા છે તેમણે પોતાના ડોક્ટરના સંપર્કમાં રહેવું. સેચ્યુરેશન 93 અથવા ઓછું છે, બેભાન જેવી સ્થિતિ છે, છાતીમાં દુખાવો થઈ રહ્યો છે તો તાત્કાલિક ડોક્ટરનો સંપર્ક કરવો. આજ-કાલ લોકો સતત CT સ્કેન કરાવી રહ્યા છે. અલબત જ્યારે CT સ્કેનની જરૂર ન હોય તો તે કરાવીને લોકો પોતાને મુશ્કેલીમાં નાંખી રહ્યા છે. કારણ કે તેને લીધે તમે તમારી જાતને રેડિએશનના સંપર્કમાં લાવો છે. જેને લીધે બાદમાં કેન્સર થવાનું જોખમ વધી જાય છે.
ઓક્સિસનો પૂરતો ભંડાર છે
સ્વાસ્થ મંત્રાલયની પત્રકાર પરિષદમાં એડિશન સેક્રેટરીએ કહ્યું કે દેશમાં પૂરતા પ્રમાણમાં ઓક્સિજન ઉપલબ્ધ છે. 1લી ઓગસ્ટ,2020ના રોજ ઓક્સિજનનું ઉત્પાદન દેશમાં 5,700 મેટ્રીક ટન હતું,જે હવે આશરે 9,000 મેટ્રીક ટન થઈ ગયું છે. આપણે વિદેશમાંથી પણ ઓક્સિજનની આયાત કરી રહ્યા છીએ. સ્વાસ્થ્ય મંત્રાલયના સંયુક્ત સચિવ લવ અગ્રવાલે કહ્યું કે દેશમાં 12 રાજ્ય એવા છે કે જ્યાં 1 લાખથી વધારે કેસ સક્રિય છે. 7 રાજ્ય એવા છે જ્યાં 50,000 થી 1 લાખ સક્રિય કેસ છે. 17 રાજ્ય એવા છે કે જ્યાં 50,000થી ઓછા સક્રિય કેસ છે.
